FF Saskatoon is travelling to Indonesia (Journey #26102) this October 2026, visiting Greater Bogor (Oct 30 – Nov 6) and Banda Aceh (dates TBC). This promises to be an amazing and immersive experience, full of culture, home hosting, local tours, and travel through Jakarta, Bandung, Purwakarta, and surrounding areas.
This is a challenging journey, and all ambassadors must be physically fit and prepared for:
- Uneven streets, stairs without handrails, and extensive walking
- Hot weather and limited air conditioning
- Use of squat toilets and local hygiene practices
- Cultural and religious expectations, including modest dress in Banda Aceh and abstaining from alcohol during the FFI portion of the journey
To ensure a safe and rewarding experience for everyone, interested ambassadors are asked to provide a letter confirming they are aware of these expectations and capable of participating.
